PETER MOSS - Just returned from a fabulous ukulele festival held in the grounds of Warwick racecourse. A big thank you to everyone that made me very welcome. Of course there was ukuleles but also a children's entertainer, a fabulous dance troup to kick the whole thing off, a stand in ticket collector, some people with an addiction to "Ribena" and an interesting lesson in balloon modelling ! A special shout out to David Jenkins, Gabriela La Foley, Tim Cooke, Leslie Hilton and Andrea Cooke who are great people all had me in stitches the whole weekend.
Great company, great music, who could ask for more ?
TIM COOKE (Chonkinfeckle) What a bloody good do it was! Top weekend with lovely folk. There's nowt better :)
GABRIELA LA FOLEY . Gentle people. Terrific variety. Relentless happiness. Good will. Excellent weekend!
A D COOKE: "Warwick Uke Fest! Awesome! Oo we've had a chuckle! Happy days!
ALI CARVER and JIMMY JAMES (MHUGS) Well done on yet another brilliant Festival.
The venue was excellent. It was dry, plenty of seats. Easy access and parking and facilities for caravans etc.
There was Hot food available, Ice cream, Drinks etc.
Free drinking water at the bar.
To accommodate all the players and clubs there were two stages.
The PA was excellent and well operated – no feedback and speedily rearranged from 1 player to 20 players. I was impressed.
The main reason I go to the festivals is not so much the workshops or the headliners but that I just want to play and get a measure of my standard of playing so I can improve. And from the number of open mike players, I was not alone in this thinking.
There were performers of all ages, standards and a variety of different songs and styles – this made it very entertaining.
Every one I met there had that ukulele smile on their faces (you know the one).
An excellent event well attended, organised and well run.

WAS ABSOLUTELY FAN..TASTIC..!!
